Ange Postecoglou is yet to secure any of his seven fixtures following his succession of the previous manager in September

Pressured boss Ange Postecoglou offered an emotional justification regarding his track record as he vowed to win trophies for the team if given time

The 60-year-old is under pressure after failing to win a single one of his first seven matches since replacing Nuno Espirito Santo last month

The club has been considering potential alternatives over the pause in fixtures, with ex-Burnley boss the experienced tactician one of the candidates considered as an alternative even though Postecoglou only being appointed for less than six weeks
